For me, I wish there was a lumbar support control at least for the driver's seat.. (The S4 has it for both driver and passenger seats).. Also I think that the gearing is a bit too long. If you catch 2nd gear at too low a speed and floor it, you've got to wait a bit for the power. (I'll bet that the 7-speed auto will find its way in there next year). Also, I wish the steering had just a tad more assist at parking lot speeds. I'm coming from a C32, which had a separate fan for the rear blower vent (nice feature)... Why did they remove that on the C55?
Eric...

Geez, you complain about everything.

Doug

(though I have to agree with the 2nd gear issue)

And I don't think he complains enough!!
No lumbar support is a disgrace. The side map pockets are cheesey. AMG floormats should be thicker. We need a dead pedal. A/C takes way too long to turn off. I know it's a sport suspension but the way it feels over rough roads is not good (even my brother's 1995 M3 has a better ride). Satellite radio should be able to permanently have the "info" button on so that you don't have to press it every time you change stations. Dual zone A/C should be able to convert to single zone so that you don't need to adjust 2 dials.
That being said, I like the steering feel at low speeds....barely boosted. The Homelink is the best I've used and the HK stereo is quite good for stock.

A Mercedes Benz and a hand made 5+ litre engine on the C55 is God's gift to me already. When I was with the 3 litre W210, I could only dream how wonderful the E500 could be with a 5 litre. Vitamin was right, the sports suspension does not feel good at all on bumpy roads. This bothers me less now after I done 3000km ( may be the suspension needs breakin ) . Apart from obvious differences, the terrible wind noise should be improved for it is being a Benz. The AMGs derserve more unique body paint colors.
