CS Pulley missing friction plate, Supercharger not engaging
I guess it is time for me to ask for some help, so i would apretiate any wise advice.
Problem: I have notice that is the supercharger it is not engaging. some times it feels that it is, but most of the time there is no power.
I can drive and use the car for normal driving, but the beast that should be inside this C32 AMG 2003. it is not there.
So I took a look at the pulley to see if I could figure out what was wrong and then I notice that it seems that the pulley is missing a part.
I have seen some videos here and some people call it "Friction Plate or Magnetic clutch plate" But the real name....I have no idea.
Questions:
1 - Is this normal for a pulley to not have the friction plate (attached img)
2 - Do the supercharger pulley need this friction plate to work?
3 - Can you buy it online?
4 - What is its freaking name?
5 - Is the space between the pulley and the magnetic clutch to much on my car, maybe thats whats making the supercharger not engage? (see pictures)
This is really driving me crazy, I normally are very good att google searching and find some kind of info. But this time...nothing, nada...zero.
So anybody that can give me a hint, thank you.
