What Did You Do To Your W203 AMG Today?

Idler pulley is near new with no play and no noise. Water pump pulley is same. No wobbles. Thinking back on this, changing water pump and alternator together would save a ton of time.

But the sides of the radiator are made of plastic and they will start to leak at some point which mine just started to do.
My car has gone more than 130.000 miles, and I regularly change parts along the way following the AMG service plan for the C 55.
Want the car to be in top shape all the time!

Picked up a shift indicator module from CLK55 today. It has M and C/S switch. Mine is working perfectly but it is always good to have a spare of what I think is a rare (and expensive) part.

If you have followed my C55 in this thread, I have been chasing odor in my C55. Replacing the carpets and foam cleaning AC evaporator helped a lot but there is still light but noticeable odor when car sits in sunlight. It's actually tolerable but I want the car to be as good as possible. I suspect the AC evaporator has fouled the dash and foam inside the dash. Went to the junkyard this morning and pulled a dash top and all the foam pieces. It took about 2 hours but I was in destruction mode so it will take longer in the C55. There is rubber backed foam on the fire wall which will be very difficult to replace if that is fouled.

Swapped in a new power steering reservoir. I started hearing a whine from the steering pump turning the wheel while stationary with ~54k on the clock. New power steering fluid reservoir and completely flushing the old fluid for new fixed it. Apparently, the reservoir should be replaced every 40k miles. None of my other M113 engined cars with the same steering pump and about twice as much mileage ever produced whine with original reservoirs. Swapped them all anyway.

2002 C32 AMG
Removed dash display
Removed the dash display today. replacement screen is ordered. Really severe fade when it is hot. Hopefully I don't need to reprogram the eprom.
Also removed the rain sensor. Replacement came but its the wrong one even the website said it was OK. Seems my C32 is an early '02, so it has the old design smaller rain sensor.
