Bad news....hit a curb. OUCH!
So my right front wheel and tire are ruined. The car is up at the dealer, going to have them look at the suspension cause I hit it pretty hard.
On the bright side I'm going to move to 19"s, primarily because the replacement wheel is $1100 without the tire. If anyone can hook me up with the ASA's and some tires, PM me. Tirerack can do the whole package for $2100 with the Zero Rossos' but the front rims are on back order.

When you asked tire rack about the new wheels, did you get a quote on a replacement AMG wheel? Your dealer is ripping you off for $1100. I just toasted a rear tire though, as it picked up a screw & was destroyed in about 1 mile of driving as it deflated.

The ASA's ST4, TSW makes the same wheel as well, its a direct copy of the 19" AMG twin spokes that were seen on the F1 safety cars. I don't know who manufacturers the AMG stuff but I'm not gonna cough up another $300-$400 per wheel for the AMG stamp. Even if they were $500 I'd probably still want the 19"s.
I went and looked at the car and I knicked the rear wheel too. I'll get back to you guys about selling the other two after I get the new wheels.
There Zero Rossos are $250-$275. You can email Luke@tirerack.com I have used him twice in the past and have been very happy with his/their service and prices.

Kind of hard to explain, but I was turning around under a freeway overpass and was in the outside lane, I thought both lanes were turn lanes, maybe they were?? I have to go back and look, in any case there were no lane markers and the curb wasn't painted and I basically was to wide in the turn and hit a traffic island. I estimate I was going about 25mph. I am going back to look on Monday to see if I have a case to ask the city for some relief due to poor markings both on the street and the curb. It was dark out and was not well lit. I think I easily could have avoided it if the curb had been painted or if the lanes had been clearly marked. Sucks though, I hit it hard.

Crazy as this may sound, I might want to downsize to 17" to get a bigger sidewall. Metro NYC roads are just too harsh.
