Hellooo, i recently upgraded my headlights to the intelligent headlight system on my 2016 w212, but the beam pattern is like the uk style, is there a way to convert it to the us style beam pattern?

You need someone/shop with proper light test machine, and MB Xentry.
They can adjust the height of the beam and the spread to MB standard for LEFT or RIGHT hand drive vehicle.
Since your LED is the 640/641/642 the most advance one, the module must be programmed to also know the correct car level between rear and front.

and
Here I am speaking of PROPER and LEGAL beam spread and height.
Not we doing it eye-balling manual version. like oldie halogen.

But you need those light beam sensors to tell you how correct the manual adjustment is and our eyes is not a lumens sensor
The automatic operation must first start with the lights being set as per its market, the manual way. If on a hunting scope it is the ZERO-ing.

While messing with the "Launch X431 Creader Elite 2.0" scanner last week I noticed this option that I assume is a part of an ILS system.
When I Google what it does, I find out that this changes the light pattern if you're visiting a country with a different from your side traffic.
Perhaps this is what will do the trick for you.

Damn, I almost forgot that the Instrument Cluster MENU has adjustment of the headlight for Left or Right Hand Traffic.
Try that and see how......

I dont have that option, initially my car did not have the intelligent light system and we installed it, will try to code in that menu, can you try that option in the menu to see if it changes the beam or flattens it

By your photo, sure you've intelligent light. So this menu in IC not avaiable for left hand or right hand traffic, that mean in your country this menu is disabled. You can ask some one who has xentry or vidiamo, sure you can change this. Left/right hand traffic can code via your headlight module.

When I can, I will try to see what happen if I do use RIGHT HAND TRAFFIC ( USA ), instead of current LEFT HAND TRAFFIC ( UK & many of Asian countries )
If you only bought the ILS headlight and the car did not come with it originally, you need to code the gateway Front SAM or Rear SAM ( I am not sure ) to let it know that your car has ILS 640/641/642, otherwise
you can't use it to its maximum potential.
Look for BenzNinja and while at it, get the Xentry from him as an IMPORTANT TOOL. He can code all these ILS stuff for you.

I would reach out to @BenzNinja . I'm pretty sure he can help with this, as well as just about everything else that needs to be done with XENTRY.

Yes, can disable or enable intelligent system features. And some time, if the headlight has mechanical issues and don't want change new headlight, somebody disable some features to ignore error code, but I'm not recommended that.

Ir-regardless, the intelligent lighting system was not approved for US use, I would doubt there's a US light setting vs. the Euro setting since it was never an option here. Also, tourist mode just changes the lighting based on which lane you are driving in, in a left hand drive car if you want to drive in a left lane country or vice versa.

I understand clearly what your after, you need to understand what I'm telling you, ILS was not ever approved for the US market, no US beam pattern is programmed into ILS /Euro I don't believe from my past research, Tourist mode only adjusts the lights from left lane driving to right lane driving

This is what is confusing to me. Both of my cars (2014 C350 and 2015 SL400) are imprinted with Intelligent Light System on the headlight. Both are US-spec cars. I will ask BenzNinja what that means.

Yes yes, I remember now. ILS to European full capability is not US approved.... poor soul.
Must code a lot....

They lack of creativity to call those features
The LED LED ILS 640/641/642 is called Dynamic LED. Which is also Intelligent Light System aka ILS
So Dynamic LED is supposedly the best there is.
I too get confused with MB brochures or sales video, as they are not the same as WIS.
So WIS is a better name technically.
So US market probably get Code 642, a dumb down version of INTELLIGENT .... he he he he.
See full data in zip for ALL cars and Code 640/641/642 & Auto High Beam code 628 or 608
