Winter tire set up

I was looking to bump down to 17" with Blizzaks for my C55. Does anyone recommend putting sandbags in trunk for better snow handling?

I'm going to use 17" Michelin PA2's with stock C32 wheels. Blizzak is a great winter tire but we had stock issues here so I spent a bit more and went with the PA2. As for the weight in the trunk>>>>>it can't hurt. I was going to wait and try it without it first but I think it will probably be the way to go. I'm going to call the dealer to see if they can supply lead weights that fit securely in the space behind the rear wheel well. They are available in Europe so we should be able to source them here. (eliminates weight shift under hard cornering)
