are those SLK55AMG brakes 6 piston front and 4 rears? They look awesome! Are they worth to upgrade from stock ones? I saw on ebay recently SLK55AMG calipers with discs, last bid was 2200 pounds (~3600$)
Also I see kompressor badge on the wind. Is it just for looks or it is real V8 compressor?

On a C32 I would say ya it's UNCOMMON but here in LA although I havebt seen another C55 in the wild driving around, the ones I do see for sale are all either black or this dark blue. Def a common color on a C55. That's why I wanted a white one because almost all C55s are black or silver or that blue color that I seen for sale.

+1 C55's are rare full stop. Here white ones are more abundant so it probably depends on the country Would be interesting to know how many c55's/c32's went to which country and what colours they were.

Ya white isn't common here in the states but when I looked there seemed to be a lot in Canada. People in the states tend to follow trends rather then be different (matte black, black wheels, blacked out everything) black on black became a hardcore fad here so EVERYONE jumped on the bandwagon so in the states I understand there being mostly black on black on every car. Last few years the dealership told me every model sold the most in black on black.

Hello all,
This is my new baby. Not a lot of history with MB, more of a Porsche Audi VW history over 30 years of car ownership, but it dawned on me that this is a really amazing car when perusing the used car lot one day. I love the perfect condition it is in and in some way how perfectly original it is. I'm a little torn about giving it some updates like a revised grill, hood badge, a set of 18" wheels, and removing the rear cats. I may get over that. (beside I can alway go back for the most part) In the meantime, it gets snow tires so I can actually drive it here in very snowy Maine.
How about those cup holders? Love it all in every way, especially the sleeper factor and the tremendous rear wheel torque.
