Do you know how to raise the hood to full vertical position? Much easier for service, but much nicer for underhood shots too!

Anyone know this color? I never seen it on a C55 before. VIN comes out as 06 with paint code 747U

There are a couple small buttons to depress on the hood shocks. Quite easy, though maybe not as easy as on a 202.

I don't have any brakes for sake, actually - but currently for sale is my old C43 with 55 swap.

I never seen one in Orion blue I thought it was a C32 only color. I seen that red color before but never an Orion blue. Was it a US order color? I saw a lime green colored one in Dubai was a designo color I think. I hate the color blue in clothes cars, everything but I LOVE this Orion Blue I would buy it. Lexus IS300 had this similar blue color for only I think the first year or 2 of production before it was replaced by this not as nice darker blue.

Yes, it was a US car. It was for sale at a dealership somewhere. Didn't last but a few days.

are those SLK55AMG brakes 6 piston front and 4 rears? They look awesome! Are they worth to upgrade from stock ones? I saw on ebay recently SLK55AMG calipers with discs, last bid was 2200 pounds (~3600$)

Also I see kompressor badge on the wind. Is it just for looks or it is real V8 compressor?
