2009 C63
Hey guys, new to this portion of the forum, need some advice. I recently picked up a high mileage C55, 145k, for dirt cheap. It's in rough cosmetic shape but runs amazing. I am going to be driving the car for about a year until I can get into another C63. I was just wondering, what are some problem areas I should check into now before they go wrong, as well as how I can get the engine as healthy as possible. I will also be doing some small exterior mods to make it more visually appealing. I did some research on the car before I bought it, but I like covering my bases. I will be selling the car as soon as I can get back into a 63, so I want the car to be running in top condition so I can get rid of it quickly.
Current list -
fresh spark plugs and wires
tranny fluid flush
engine mounts (vibrates at idle)
new filters
brake upgrades - better pads and SS lines
Suspension overhaul - need some guidance here
Possible cat/res delete
Exterior mods I'm considering, the car is silver -
Gloss black roof
diffuser
front lip
5.5 amg badges
Please add/subtract to my list as you see fit, thanks in advance for your help everybody!
