what size are your wheels and what are the offsets

Wheels in my C32 are AZEV (Type E), 19 inch diameter 8.5 in the front, 9.5 in the rear. I don't know the exact wheel off set for front or back. As you probably know, wheel's offsets are different between each brand and, even in within a especific brand, the offsets are rather especific for each wheel than to the brand itself (due to each wheel design that varies in width, etc).

I have the exact same design of wheel (AZEV, Type E) for a Pontiac Grand Prix. Though the wheels are the same design, you would not be able to mount the wheel from the Gran Prix on to the C32, eventhough the wheels are the same brand and design! (AZEV, Type E). The wheel form the Pointac would not even clear the front caliper on the C32, not to count that on the rear; the wheel "stuck out" about 1/4 of an inch. If you saw the pictures I posted from y car, you will see the AZEVs on te C32 are flush with the body of the vehicle... whelp??? that is all due to the correct offset that is done when the wheels are drilled.

In the USA, the soly distributor for AZEVs is the CEC you can visit them at CEC Wheels. The C32 wheels were drilled by AZEV in Germany and the car was shipped with those wheels to the US. For the Pontiac I had the wheels drilled by the CEC in California (wheels are imported from AZEV in Germany in a "in-brut" format; then, they are custom drilled from the hub to the correct offsets for the particular car).

As far as costs??? whelp.. AZEV wheels will a bit more than some Brabus's models, almost the same (just slightly above) than HREs... however since brands always try to compete between one to another, I am sure if you are interested, they can try to match their competitors.

If you shop around, you will find that local resellers (which get the wheels from CEC) many times can sell you the same wheel for a better price even lower than the price that CEC showroom will give you!.

Globe Tire and Motorsports has been selling Azev since they were originally called Atev about 10 years ago. They are in Los Angeles on La Cienega and are much cheaper than CEC. No comparison to HRE, Fikse, Kenisys, BBS, Champion and other fine forged wheels. Although some designs are nice, they are just another cast wheel that some may find nice that are somewhat soft and heavy.

As I mentioned on other posting before, I happen to like a certain brand(s) of wheels (AZEV, Anteras), infact, the wheels that I loved from AZEV, the Type B wheel is no longer built by them (AZEV) at all .

I am not a mechanical engineer, so I am unable to render judgement on the softness of the type of alloy used to cast the wheels AZEV produce. My choice is purely based on the brand the the appearence of the product(s) (wheels) alone.

Your statement regarding ATEV to AZEV as seen in the quote above is not accurate; however, you are very well entitled to your opinion whether correct or not.

hey i just got my grille, flat hood emblem and white side markers installed.

im waiting for the trunk lip spoiler to be painted (by today) and for my illumintaed blue AMG door sills to be installed all by tomorrow.
