doesnt matter, what the difference if you see it now or while im driving¿ anyway, if you look at the top right side of the license plate you will see the camera as seen in another photo.

 

adam, how'd you hook up the dvd on your navi? did a stereo shop do it? how much did it set you back??

i live in NY, so i went to a place in brooklyn (x-tian-230k requested) and it actually happened to be a place my friend (01' Acura TL Type-S) got his audio/video done (jl audio subs/ pioneer touchscreen, rear center drop monitor).

anyway this is what they do:
1 - dvd player, compatable with dvd-r, cd-r, cd-rw, mp3-cd, etc... capabilities include everything a home player would have. even a remote! they mounted it underneath the glove box. u can kinda see it in the 2nd to last picture i posted, however its a little dark and may be hard to see so ill repost when i take better shots of my car. its of excellent quality though and is pretty flush enough that people dont realise its there till i tell them

2 - dvd player has built in tv-tuner (but only get good reception when im away from trees and best when im by water, and it only works for a few tv's , worth the extra $50 i think) the antenna goes up from the back of the dash up the side -----> to the passeneger side front windshield, thats where the actual antenna is mounted, its basically to the right of my valentine-1.

3 - he hard-wired my v1 for free. wire runs pretty much parralel to the tv-tuner - very flush!

4 - dvd-player has front inputs (for connections on the go)

5 - when i shift into reverse it automatically turns on the rear camera when im in any mode (tv, dvd, input 1) and then goes right back to the "mode" when i put it in park or drive... REAR CAM, is pioneer with nightvision capabilities, excellent color and quality.

as far as pricing goes, its usually i think around $1100 +/- (for the tv-module, dvd player with tuner, rear cam and installation) - that is of course you own a command 2.0, would be for most pre-05' cars - i think... PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE TAKING MY ADVICE. i think over $1500 with the new 05' dvd-commands but im not sure - send a pm and ill hook you up with the connect.

but since he knows me and since:
1 - i bought 8 bulbs (2x - fogs, sides-marker, all-day and rear signal) and
2 - got my v1 hardwired, and
3 - i bought a rear monitor (tft-lcd 7") (not in the headrest or from the ceiling, its from on top the rear ac, sort of like those amg accesories pic that was posted a while ago) But im trying to figure out a better mounting device cause the one he supplied is already loosening up - the only good thing is, its detachable so i can take it off, stow it in the g-box and lock that baby secure... i might just try to get it in the headrests but i want it flush and i dont want it taking more space then already used by the stock headrests.

nevertheless, I got it all done for under $1400. but it would normally cost around $1100 for tv-nav module, dvd, tv-tuner and rear cam...
- $180+ for the 8 bulbs (depending on bulbs)
- $300 for the 7" tft-lcd (depending on manufacturer), and
- $20 for the v1 hardwire

about $1600 MAX all together... let me know if you live in NY or are for some reason coming here, ill try to catch you a deal like mine

for some reason i forgot to include this picture thati took at the same time of the others... will post more/better if the wheather gets any better in NY

 

since you posted the close up, I'm gonna ask if these are replicas or the real ones?? because from the picture it looks to have a similiar lip to mine which is slightly different from the real thing.

as i see in your signature it says replica 18 8.5x9.5... i too have replicas, i got reps especially since i live in NEW YORK and my AMG rims got bent (fixable so i left it for my winter set to mount "winter sport m3" tires on it) within the 1st year ive had the car this happened so i didnt see a reason to get 7,000 rims and be left wtih having to replace 1 for $1600$$ my set of rims painted brand new werent even that much? they work for me and unless you are a car enthusiast, u cant tell the difference so im HAPPY. thanks NEAL!

i got 19x8.5 9.5 so maybe the lip differs with size?

 

there are two company that makes LM6 replicas, mine (which the supplier used to supply moven) and velocity wheels. if yours are the moven one, it has the exact same lip as mine other than being 19inches. if it's the velocity one, you will see that it has a horse-shoe shape around the valve-stem which on the moven the stem comes right out.

thought you guys might like to see some better pics... cause, we finally got some sunshine in NY...

 

the rear screen is detachable... look under the glovebox, thats where the dvd player mounts... it doesnt interfere at all with the passengers leg.
