i dont think that's a carbon fiber hood...i think its a special paint job that he got for his hood. i remember seeing it on the forum a while back..it has that snake feel to it.

That's correct, it a very nice paint job. If I remember correctly it is a snake skin airbrush.

Some recent pics. The car wasn't super clean, but it is hardly noticeable with the Pewter silver colour.

You're absolutely right. The rims I have are AMG Style VI rims that come stock with the current W209 CLK63. I made an earlier thread about them in this subforum a while back.

Yeah I've only seen them on E63's so I figured it was specific for that car only (and I know wheels from the E's dont fit our C's). What I really want to see now is a set of those colormatched black on a black car. You're lucky that they match your paint so well
