NAV System question?

How do you turn off or mute the voice guidence when using the Nav system?

Hit the RPT (repeat) button and turn the volume knob up or down to adjust the volume. I'm not sure how to turn the voice off though, not sure if its available.

hit rpt button when you hear her start to speak hit mute immediately after...it should state: "navigation voice muted"

Cool, I didn't know you could mute her. I like my NAVi lady but I'm about to choke the shiet out of the chick in my wife's BMW.

You can also mute or adjust the volume anytime she speaks without hitting the rpt if you forget.

as stated in the comand's manual...by pressing MUTE for 2 seconds as soon as she is speaking...that will mute all her commands up to the point where you hit repeat again to wake her up.
