XM/Sirius Radio
I know there is a factory install one, but it's like 675 dollars AND u need the command system (which i don't have) i believe.
I'd like to install either into the car with hardwire.. so any help, suggestions would be helpful thanks!
I had to shop three places for the install - One place wanted $500 and said they would only connect via FM modulator because they thought they would "damage" the car
. Another place agreed to run it through AUX - for $600
.The only thing I would like to have done differently is I wouldn't have popped out the glovebox hole during the install. I would just leave the whole harness buried in the dash for the hookup to the XM Commander since I don't use the AUX input for anything else anyway.
There's a couple of threads that talk about the the AUX input and harness in non-COMAND C-Class cars, and a couple of others that talk about XM Commander and Antenna placement (Mine is on the rear parcel shelf and it works fine). - Sorry I couldn't find the threads quickly for you.
C55NJ: Do you have any pics of how it's installed? it looks like some type of dash, where do u put it?
more151please: what's a softbutton o.o
Thanks for all your help!
