I was wondering if the windshield wipers on the 2002 C32 are supposed to slow down to delayed swipes when I come to a complete stop? For example, if I have them in position 2, and I come to a stop, are they supposed to stop swiping constantly and kind of swipe with delays as if in position 1? I don't have a rain sensor.

I'm just curious because my old 325is had that feature.

Are you kidding? I was disappointed when I learned that my '04 C32 didn't even have VARIABLE intermittent wipers. For a 50k+ car, I was amazed at what it didn't have vs. what it should have had. Heck, even my parents' '04 Honda Accord has the feature you're talking about.

I really wished the C32 met my needs, but alas - I turned to an M3 for the gizmos: LEDs, LSD, 6-speed, inflatable lumbar and side supports, rain sensor, park distance control, 19" wheels, bi-xenon...the list goes on and on, of things that should have been standard or at least available on the C32.

That's weird - in SA all C-classes have that function built in. I'm talking of the wipers that slow down to intermittent when you stop. Come to think of it - even my 1998 C230 Kompressor had it as standard.

Yeah exactly that, slows down to delayed swipes.
Erm...I don't have that function =\ ....unless its broken

I have rain senors on windscreen , so it swipe only if enough rain drops on.
That's not the same concept as the 325i I used to have where it has variable speed adjustments.
