Here comes the BIG announcements
We have selected a few brands that we carry to be sold AT COST! Yes, you are reading it right, AT COST, with 0% profit margin. To find out which brands are on the AT COST list, please do not hesitate to send me an e-mail (harris@hartonmotorwerks.com). Hint: it includes the most popular wheel in the market right now and one of the elite German Mercedes tuner!
We are also introducing a Price Protection Program to our customers. We will beat lower prices advertised by authorized dealers located anywhere in North America, including prices advertised on the Internet. If, within 14 days of purchasing an item from Harton Motorwerks or its parent company, you find the same product advertised at a lower price, we will gladly refund you the difference.
The AT COST sale is for a limited time only. It will only last until I change my mind! And for those who think I am crazy, yes, I think I am.

Hmmmmmmm, I wonder where you got this idea from?
If I recall correctly. You once made a nice comment about us on how we said we will beat anyone's pricing, and I believe you said its not a healthy way to do business? Nothing like going against your own word. Or maybe you are just getting desperate?

But the problem is, there is no dealer will advertise their best price, but you have to PM them to get the price. Then the price quote you got is not advertised price....

Neal, THINK before you say anything and get this straight: I am NOT saying I have the lowest price on earth. I am NOT saying I will beat anyone's pricing. If any of our customer finds a lower price than the price he purchased from us, we will refund the difference, as simple as that. We are not trying to beat someone else's price. There is a big difference between the two. Well....enough said.

I am an admin on a large mesage board with paying vendors, and I must say if I saw BlackC230Coupe's post I would have deleted it systematically. I am suprised the admins/mods here have not done so in this case.

Just the way we choose to run things.
If you are an admin on another board (is it safe to assume it is s2k?), I welcome your direct communication to see if you would be intersted in stepping up and volunteering here as well.
Thanks

There are many reasons why I chose not to post any pricing on my site. But one very important reason stands out above the rest: I was once a customer (and I still am) and I know what I am expecting from a vendor. It is impossible for a vendor to run a trouble-free business, but I do believe in giving personal care and attention to every customer. That's why until today I am still replying every single enquiries by myself. Well, I'll let my other staff to handle the shipping and accounting, but I will still continue to handle the customer/service part of the business. I think my customers deserve more than logging on to my site and all they see are dirt cheap pricing and interacting with a computer screen.
I am giving my customers a peace of mind so that they can shop with confidence. And I am proud and happy about that. In no way am I trying to compete or take down anybody else. But if people want to perceive it that way......well, what can I say.

If I know exactly what I want, me speaking to someone can in no way add value to the transaction (as far as I’m concerned and we all know perception is reality), it just adds time
Harris, the only reason I took the time to write this is that I feel you have conducted yourself with professionalism and dignity (at least on the E55 board) and I want you to see a side to the customer experience you may be missing, this post was intended to help, please take it as such

There are 30+ million websites in the world right now, it is hard to distinguish which one is legit and which one is not. If I am selling a $0.50 lollipop, then it doesnt really matter. But I am selling parts that are in the thousands, I feel that I have the obligation to give my customers some kind of service. Since the wheels cannot jump out of the monitor and let my customers touch it (wouldnt it be nice if one day our technology would allow us to do that??), the very least that I can do is to help out in every possible way (such as e-mails or telephone). There are still a lot of people who simply do not trust the internet, they would surf for info, but they would never buy anything online. I can totally understand your point, I will try to put myself into an even better position.
Thanks again!

Hi Harris, I have tried to contact you via email concerning the spoiler I purchased from you. I have not heard anything back. Are you receiving my emails?
Would appreciate if you can provide me some info if it was shipped, delay or something else. Just want to make sure if it was sent, it did not get lost or something.
Thanks.

Its very unfortunate that in this world you cannot please everyone. There will always be people that feel negative towards one's views then others. Which is fine.
Since you brought up you would delete my post here. I would like your own personal neutral opinion without a biased approach to Harris what you would have done with his post in my thread for a promotion we had that he replied in.
Here is the thread.

I am also affiliated with a company that makes/sells performance parts for Subarus, and I make it a point to never post in a competitors thread, whether I have something meaningful to say in regard to their post or not(and believe me there are plenty of negative things I could say about most of my competitors.) I call it professional courtesy.
