Well, i Finally decided on the color of my C55. It will be Designo Graphite with the black AMG interior. I am either going to get black wood or carbon fiber for the interior trim. I fell in love with the designo graphite color when i saw it at the detroit auto show a couple weeks ago. I am planning on ordering my car within the next month so i should be seeing her in about 4 months or so. Hopefully i can go to Germany and see her being built. Just thought that i would share that with you guys. Have a nice day

Congrats. I went to the MB factory tour in Stuttgart and enjoyed it. My favorite part was the robot that installed the windshield.

haha i do remember the robot that installed the windshield when i was there about 7 years ago....i guess that was one of my favortie parts also

They let a robot put the windshield in? Geez, next thing you know they will be welding the whole thing together with robots.

Didn't know they offered Carbon Fiber as an option, but then again, I didn't have mine built either. Any pics of the carbon fiber trim?

Where do you get the info that Designo Graphite and carbon fiber interior trim is available on the C55? Last I checked there are no such ordering options.

Carbon Fiber trimming is an AMG Manufaktur part. I am not quite sure whether it can be added on a US bound car. Maybe they have changed it.

why don't you take delivery in germany? drive around.....man i'm itiching to do this. check with your rep- he has to make a tele call or two and they can get your car in the EDP. no discount but you should not pay delivery.
