My C55

Here are some photos of my C55. I have prepared it for show competition. This includes extensive painting and detailing in the engine compartment, painting the brake calipers and rotors, hubs, suspension components, etc.

Wow... it looks very.....clean.

In my opinion a clean stock new car is not ready for any show besides the one that the Manufacturer shows it at.

Put some aftermarket mods on the car too.

A bucket on wheels
i have no complaints with anything...modding is very subjective it may not be for oyu or you maybe be doing it slowly. Either way very nice car its very clean. My opinion, take of the front license plate suck up the fine they give you and it will be much much nicer.

Looks clean and nice! If you're gonna show it you gotta take the front license plate off.

nice garage

nice painting job, but i don't know why you would paint the oil filter cap because the paint that thing will get fuked when you change the oil filter.

I think you have your C's mixed up, the first pic is a C6. How is the ride quality, noise level, comfort, etc.. between the two C's? Did you by any chance have a C5 before you got the C6? If so, is there a huge improvement.

THe C55 looks nice, but I have only looked under my hood once, I couldn't tell you if yours is different or not.

My C6 in the background only has 2 miles on it. I have never owned a Corvette before and in fact always disliked them. However, they have addressed a numbe of issues with the new car and the reviews have been excellent. I am pleased with the quality of the car. I am very fussy with build quality - issues like even gaps between body panels, fit and finish, paint, etc. The interior is not as nice as a C55, but the performance is pretty compelling - 0to60 in 4.2 seconds, 186 mph, good handling.

I had a C5 and was contemplating getting on the C6 ZO6 list. I overlooked some obvious flaws in the C5 Roadster I had a few years back because it was such a great performing car for the money. I have seen the new C6 but just haven't got enough exposure as of yet to make a decision. I'm with you on fit and finish, give me an update on ride quality and noise levels if you have a chance, I would appreciate it.
