yea i guess you guys answered all my questions about the resonater, please disregard the resonater questions that i just posted, but if your from the new york area let me kno where i can find the green filters

hey 05C55 i got another question
whats the easiest route to hardwire the V1....putting it at the top or bottom of the windshield(i like the bottom but people say it works better at the top) and what to splice into???

Well, I had the resonator removed this morning at Midas for only $30. As for the sounds, it really didn't change it that much. A bit deeper and more throaty. Many people have questioned whether or not a "drone" sound is noticed between 2-3 rpm range and as far as I can tell... I didn't notice one. The sound is clean and consistant throughout the powerband. Being that the resonator essentially a straight pipe with holes to allow the air to "resonate" in the chamber, I can't really see it reducing low-end torque because the resonator doesn't appear to create any sort of back pressure. All-in-all for $30, I can't see it being a mistake. I keep my resonator in the event I ever wish to but it back on.
BTW - The Midas guys were funny - they asked me if I wanted to throw on a couple flowmasters while they were working on it. HAHAHA!
