tks. I heard they need to insert an replacement extension portion to it after the resonator is removed. How easy is that, and do they have the parts?
cheers

well i just had mine taken out today, and yes they need to replace the resonator part with a 3'' straight pipe. Like TeaShea just said, it is alittle deeper, and little bit more loud, i like the change, while there i had greenfilter airfilters put in, car feels good. I recommend the upgrade.

It is an exhaust gas conditioning device that adjusts the exhaust gas resonation prior to being sent to the flux capacitor.

Is that only one pipe need done or two pipes ?
How can they cut it out and can we make sure they seal it properly?

Bring your car and drop it at the shop tomorrow and we will do it for ya!... oh... you are in the other side of the globe!.. kidding man!...
You have received input from pretty much everyone, including Vadim from Evosport himself... if with all that info you still have questions... I'd say, take your car to a shop that does muffler work around where you live, tell them to cut the resonator out... I am sure they'll know how to do it.

All you need to do is to have a muffler shop cut your resonator out and weld-in our bypass pipe. Please pictures below.

Yes, you could get a piece of titanium, however it will be a real pain welding it to stock exhaust system.
Very few places sell cut stainless. You have to buy it in 20 ft. sticks. We cut it and expand it for proper fit and easy install.

I had mine removed today. It feels like it has the slightest improvement in throttle response but I don't think it really made it sound much better. You can hear the resonation when you idle and also when you are on and off the throttle at low RPM's at cruising speeds on the freeway. I can see why they put it on. I could take it or leave it. Good thing it was only $50.

May be I should leave it there , and at least I can still enjoy my audio while the car is idle.
Thanks to all who spent time to help.
