CLK Grille
Anyone know any thing about this part? if it will fit easily and firmly on a c32? says for the c55. Any ideas where I can get one for the c32 that is like this. Don't want the cl star, want the clk star

CLK and C55 share the same front end and a CLK grille can be put on a C55 by changing the lever that pops the hood. I know MBwerks sells the kit pretty reasonably. As far as I know, it would require some custom modification to be able to fit the CLK grille on a C32 because the grille sizes are completely different for these two cars. I think SilvaC32 had a CLK grille fit to his car, so maybe ask him how it was done.

I heard that the hood lever must be replaced in order to fit a original CLK grill into the C55. I would like to know if MBwerks does sell the hood lever and emblem alone?
I probably get the CLK grill here local to save heavy weight shipment to Hong Kong. As there are not many C55 in HK, I am doubt if they sell the hood lever. And, how easy is to install and uninstall the hood lever in case I do it myself and also can reverse them back one day, if I start to get bored with the CLK grill. :p
BTW, is that special hood lever belongs to the CLK too?

lol, i'd actually look over to silvaC32 for this since he is one of the only people that put the CLK grill on a C32.

basically... wha i did was take a OEM CLK grill, take off your C32 grill.... and just cut and fit. it did require alot of work... which i dont think its worth doin at the end. but, i did have somethin that no one else have though. =)

I got my CLK grill pkg from them which includes the lever. The lever is probably the stock lever for the CLK. Very easy to install & uninstall, if you have screwdriver and basic socket wrench kit available at any auto parts/hardware store. I installed the grill/lever myself.
