V6 Kompressor badge, or not?

Well, my C32 AMG will be here August-September. I am thinking about removing the V6 Kompressor badges where the front wheel wells are and replacing it with the standard AMG trunk badge. I have seen a few people do this. What do you think about it on a Brilliant Silver C32? V6 Kompressor or AMG badge?

For people who do not know what I am talking about, here is an example:

Here is a picture of UKC32's car with the AMG badge, rather than the V6 Kompressor badge:

Depends whether you want people to KNOW if your car is a C32. If you do, keep it. I dont think those with ordinary Cs will actually go & buy those badges and put them on their car and pretend it to be a C32. However, if you want your car to be as stealth as possible & give people a surprise, you should remove it. The downside of removing it is people might think you're just an ordinary C but with C32 badges on the trunk!! I normally look for the V6 badges to determine if its a C32 if I cant see the rear of it.
Also, if I were to put the AMG badge, I will put the small ones that you find in the middle of the front bumper of the C36, and put it on the side strip where the "classic" or "avangarde" badge sits.

2003 CL55 AMG
I like the look without any badges, however, the AMG badges look tirck.... I definetly HATE the V6 Kompressor badges as they look rather cheap and tacky in my humble opinion. The V8 Kompressor badges on the new SL55 look bad as well.

I would go with nothing on the wheel wells just to make it look clean....

<sigh> but if you are dying to have something on the wells..then would go with the AMG rather than the kompressor badge... have you thought of just leaving the V6 there :p

IMO if you keep your car like it is, just as it rolled out of the factory (thus proving that you are happy/satisfied with the car you purchased), if will be worth far more in the future.

as for my C320, only mod I did was put the C32 AMG wheels on my car, and that was only because I couldn't afford the actual C32, and love the wheels.

I don't get it ? are you guys embarassed because it says "V6 kompressor" or what ?

if so, you bought the wrong car

No, it's because AMG is just cooler than "V6 Kompressor", hehe. If I bought an SL55 with a 480hp beast of an engine, the car has V8 Kompressor badges, I would remove the V8 Kompressor badge and replace it with an AMG badge.

i think it's overkill. there's already an amg badge in the back. it's like you're bragging when u put it all over the car. just my opinion
