Has anyone run 265-35-18's

I bought a set of original AMG mono's the typical 18x8 18x9 bought new 225-40-18 for the front. But for the rear I would like to go for 265-35-18 as I have a brand new of this size in the garage. The tire rack recommends the 255 as no problem
My car is not lowered, the size difference is minimal. I am thinking of having them mounted up and checking for clearance. If anyone has done this please let me know. or if there is any other issues I should know about, I would appreciate it.
Thanks Mike.

Has anyone run 265 / 35 / 18

I am also from Vancouver. I am waiting for mine, but I am going to run 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. What color is your C43? Maybe I will see you around.

Mine is black on black, I live here in North Vancouver. My first choice would be the 255 & might have to go that route. But would like to use the tires I have. you say you are waiting for yours?

I have 265 35 18's in the rear of my 98 C43. The rims are 18x9.5.
They tend to rub if you hit a pot hole or bump, not really safe...if you
drive fast. It's more for looks for me.

If you want to run 265/35/18 on the back for 18x8/18x9 sets..
I would suggest to run 23/540/18... on the front to maintain similar rolling diameter..

however the dilemma is that chances are your front tires going to rub badly on the front with 235/40/18 . Best sizing for AMG 18x8 on W202 is 225/40/18 for the front..

If you decided to run 225/40/18 & 265/35/18 combo on 18x8/18x9 AMG mono sets your car will looks ridiculous.. Looks like a dragster..that has bigger rear wheels...

just my $0.02

PS: You could check out my gallery at www.bnzsport.com and www.club202.com in case you're curoius to see what 225/40/18 & 255/35/18 combo looks like.
