Is replacing the air filter even worth it? Is there anything else I can do that will bring any performance gains that is somewhat cheap? Under-drive pulleys? Exhaust?

My car has a bit over 80k miles. I want to lower it. Can I just replace the springs or should I replace the shocks also at the same time? How long will the stock shocks last if I just replace the springs? Does anyone make sways for the C43?
