Some Brake Rotor info w/part numbers

Here's some part numbers so you can "cut & paste" to your maintenance files, folders or whatever method you employ to record your service history or part numbers. Also handy if you come across some of these brake rotors from a salvaged vehicle. I'm Still attempting to find a front set for less than $200.

LEFT BRAKE ROTOR ----> 210 421 18 12
RIGHT BRAKE ROTOR ----> 210 421 19 12

APPLICABLE TO THE FOLLOWING:
98-2000 C43
99-2002 E55
01-2003 CLK 55 (Both coupes and cabs)

At the OEM prices it makes me think I'll just do an upgrade instead of replacement. While I don't anticipate having to do so for some time I have a hard time dropping that kind of cash for OEM. I put a whole set of x-drilled rotors on my 190 for about the price of 1 and a half front C43 rotors

I know exactly what you're talking about - the upgrades for rotors on an AMG are cost-prohibitive, the stock AMG product is fine, provided I can even find it. At any rate, I was able to replace the front brakes on my better half's automobile (2000 BMW 328i - E46) for less than $200 i.e., pads, cross-drilled brembos and all.

Brakeworld has what appears to be a decent deal on cross-drilled rotors for the C43 - $799 for the front set and $330 for the rear. While certainly more expensive than OEM, they are much less than a Brembo kit. Has anyone here used DiscItalia before? There isn't much info available on-line that I could find.
My concern would be that the stock setup stops incredibly well and I'd hate to jeopardize that in any way. The cross-drilled do look cool though On the 190 the rotors were so old that the new Zimmermans made a big improvement. I can't see that being the case on my C43.
