Congrats Plug. Beautiful car. If you appreciate solid engineering, you're most certain to enjoy the car. After a year and change of ownership, mine still puts a goofy smile on my face every time.
That's a great color. Is the interior solid black, and does it have the burl wood or the carbon fiber look for the trim?

Damn man, that color makes me wanna rob a bank so I can repaint mine. I have been thinking about a dark midnight blue anyway and seeing yours really makes me think it would be sweet.
Congrats on the car. Did you take the badges off or were they already off?

Also, just so you are aware plug, there is a piece of trim missing from your front ground effect. Mine was missing too when I bought it, gonna get it replaced on the insurance of the old guy who hit me last week though. It is pretty common for them to be missing, will cost you 207 at the dealer.

You're right about the trim, I hadn't noticed. I'm not that bothered though, that can get done in slow time..
Also, it has gone wrong already! Fuel gauge packed up when I filled it up yesterday . It's not been above 1/2 a tank since I bought it, so may be it's just the top of the sensing unit not working. I'll find out once I've burnt some fuel off.. at least that shouldn't take long!

Yeah the trim piece was not a big deal to me either. I knew it was missing when I bought it and it never even really occurred to me to have it replaced. BUt when i was in the wreck last week, I told the body shop it got knocked out and crushed so they ordered me a new one. Will see what I think about it when i get it on and let you know if I think it is a worthwhile difference.

check the post titled "beautiful day gone bad part 1/2) There are some pics. Some old guy pulled out in front of me as I was turning left. Minor damage, major heartbreak. But she is being all fixed up this week and should be ready tomorrow or Friday. Thanks for the concern.
