That said... But I'd have jumped on a stock W202 C55 if I could have (especially the wagon). Might not have even needed to lower it as the Euro springs placed the car @ the right height, unlike the "US lift-kit edition" we got here (oh, and still would have installed COMAND and Nokia 6310i phone kit).
I'd guess (or be willing to pay) a 25% premium over current region dependant C43 prices for what it is and the rareity of it.

I don't really think the C class will raise in price. I'm sure that in a few years, the car will be "outdated" and just as cheap as the BMW 8 series has become.

there is a guy here in jersey that has a late 90's C230 or C240 or somehting like that. anyways the car is dissasembled, front end is completely off, interior. wiring, and fuel system.
anyways he got his hands on a 2005 E55 that was t-boned and everything including the fuel lines are in tact, they just cut the roof off to get the guy out of the car. someone already got the inetrior peices that were ok, but he got the whole car including engine, wiring harness, fuel system, headlights/tailights (he sold them already) everything for 5 grand
i dont know if it was a shady deal or something, i dont ask **** like that, well the engine is in the car and the wiring is 90% done.
he already is calling it the C55, well it should be a beast, he put alot of work into it, because its not a bolt in swap. he started it last summer.
when he is done i will post pics and maybe a video of him going down the track in the 11's or high 10's ---- that is what he is expecting/telling everyone.
thats just my C55 story
