What about reliability
Is it because this car is perfect?
What are the technical and mecanical problems that can occur, is this car made to roll for more than 100k miles?
Thx all!

There is plenty of info on the c43 in this thread!Do a search and I'm sure you'll find tons of info! Good luck!
The better you maintain and take care of your car, I am sure you will have less problems. Just make sure you show it to an aged/experienced machanic before you spend your money. I drove other Mercedes cars, I don't think you will have any reliability issues. Newer Mercedes cars to me look and feel more Chrysler or Japanese to me. You can feel the Benz solidness in these rare C43 cars....
Good luck

i had it for ov er 3 years now, it's a 99. but i don't put a lot of miles on it. it's a bit over 65K at the moment. when i first got it i drove it hard for about 6 months. then i got used to it. well, not really, but i don't drive it too hard anymore.
so far i had to replace MAF (my own stupidity really, not the car's fault) and AC condenser (climate issues, perhaps a bit of a design issue, maintenance issue).
also normal wear like break pads, filters, wiper blade, lightbulbs.
so far, so good.
if you do most of the stuff yourself it will not be too expensive. going to the dealer will surely make you a bit ligther on the cash. so plan ahead.
one expense not really related to the car, but in terms of cost you may have to plan for is those damn RIMs. they are not cheap.
around here roads are not so good and even though i drive REALLY carefully as far as potholes go, an i mean REALLY carefully. i drive the same route over an over, i know every single pothole on the way, i don't drive at night when i can't see them . . . still . . . ocasionally you are out of luck. at one point i was taking off at the red light and there was a guy right in front of me. it was slow, 10-15MPH at the most. i was following too closely so i couldn't see it, i could only hear it . . . both right tires blowing up. the guy in front of me lost one tire too.
so overall i'm down one rear rim + one entire set of rims at this point. well, i didn't start clean either, one rim was already cracked and poorly welded when i got the car, but still. in less than 4 years i had to purchase 5 rims. i understand performance and all, but my advice if you live in a state with really bad roads and you don't requre train-like handling when taking ramps at 80MPH do not go for alloy wheels if you have a choice. keep in mind, mine are just regular 17 inch AMG rims, stock. i can only imagine how quickly you can ruin those 18 or 19 inch ones . . .
