I dunno.....honestly, at the prices that you can fetch a C32 for these days, if I had wanted one I would have gotten one. Its really the V8 that excites me about the C43, and I would rather tune what I have to pick up the extra HP (or even more by going the Kleemann/HPS route), or swap an equally powerful 210 E55 motor instead. But hey, it might make an interesting project...especially in a C36

why waste it like that? just grab a cheap w202 in decent physical condition (if that) with a busted engine, and swap in the sc-i6.

it seems kinda stupid. i men the 43 has like 302, and the 32 has around 350. im shure for the 10K u spend on the engine and swap. u can pick up teh 50hp diffrence no problem.

Waste of time! Supercharge the 4.3L and you'll have much better TQ and HP then the S/C 3.2L V6 in the C32!

The V6 however was designed for a high boost which you can't do on the 4.3L Some C32 motors have been tuned to 430-450 hp range with 400 plus ft/lbs of torque. My SLK32 runs around 420 or so with a larger pulley, camshafts, software. With headers you could get that near 450 becaue you would have room in a C43 chasis. It would make for an intereting project.

The car has every other option except navigation. It has 51,000 miles and it is Immaculate in and out. Has upgraded C55 wheels and brand new tires. I am selling because getting an E55. If interested let me know. I really need to get rid of it, even if i have to take a loss, have a downpayment on the car.

If you had a C280, I would say swap in the C32, but since you have a C43, I think it would be better to just build the C43 motor. Port & polish the cylinder heads, lower compression ratio by changing the internals of the engine, supercharge it, then add headers and exhaust. That would be a very cool autox car, since the suspension is better on the 202 chasis than the 203.

Yep, he did. I understand it would be faster if he could find a way to keep from blowing out the head gaskets...

I remember I met you a few months back. You were getting oil changed and maybe other stuff, which prompted me to do mine and I had to run out to buy oil. I thought you had a newer 5.4L supercharged engine? (I know you decided to stop doing whatever it was for the E55) If that's what it was, did you sell that? (I sent you a PM on another question.)

If you don't mind me asking, why are you going for V8 after C32? You like the feel?

thank you

If you don't mind me asking, why are you going for V8 after C32? I saw some threads people are fighting over C43 and C32, and C32 owners get pretty defensive after a lot of people speaking VERY highly about C43.

Thank you

Ya, very nice look'n C32. Hope you free up that cash soon; can't blame anyone for wanting an E55... (though I do like the way the smaller C-class turns much better ) Man do I gotta lot of projects for Jefferey on my 560SL. Probably have to spend 1/2 the price I paid for it to set everything right. Not regret'n getting it tho.

p.s. I got pix of Jeff's turbo'ed setup in my gallery ... in the Birth of My C55 album. Just click my sig pic.
