Track times?
It was a very hot day 95 F. The track had to be glued and the traction slowed a lot of cars down.
I had a boot (trunk) full of beer and camping equipment and a full tank as it was a camping event.
My car impressed me in these conditions.
This was with the ESP fuse (16) taken out.
Reaction...................0.585 sec
60ft.........................2.354 sec
330ft.......................6.381 sec
1/8th mile................9.658 sec
1/8th mile MPH..........74.90
1000ft.....................12.403 sec
1/4 mile....................14.736 sec
1/4 mile MPH..............95.51
So in good conditions and a lighter load I think I could knock a little time off.
Carlski's W202 C55 ran low 13's I believe. Which is really good. I think his car is making about 50 more HP and around 90 more FT/LBS than ours I believe. Even so, I would think the C43's output would have had it a little closer to low 14's. Whats surprises me about this is how an increase in 50HP/90TQ can shave almost 2 seconds off of a 1/4 mile time.
Your situation adds fog to what I just stated also. I would get back out there during better weather. Empty the trunk, less fuel, take out the spare, and rip away.
Lastly, whats it like driving around with the ESP fuse out?? What else does it control if anything? I wouldn't want to shut off the ABS also. I personally find the ESP pretty interuptive even when switched off. I've held the car drifting for some distances and the ESP steps in even though it's switched off.....

As it was a camping event last time you had no choice but to have the rear loaded with equipment and many people had to do this otherwise i would all get stolen.
I even had my heavy suns and amps in the trunk.
The last time I went the conditions were adding time to all runs made by proper drag cars and even the jet car.
This time I cleared everything out and had a small amount of fuel.
Again fuse number 16 came out.
I actually got good starts this time. I couldnt get any wheel spin at all with the previous conditions.
Anyway here is the result of my best run.
Reaction...................0.326 sec
60ft.........................2.265 sec
330ft.......................6.224 sec
1/8th mile................9.496 sec
1/8th mile MPH..........76.80
1000ft.....................12.023 sec
1/4 mile....................14.172 sec
1/4 mile MPH..............98.65
I was pleased with how well she performed to be honest.
I know its not the best time but it will do for now.
