Tell the judge you bought the car with the tint and had no idea it was illegal; Then you show him the $150 receipt for removing the film to be in full compliance with the law.... case closed.
Not to be a ballbuster Cyan but :

#1 ) The PC ( probable cause ) for the stop was the illegal tint.
# 2) Ignorance of the law ( no idea tint was illegal ) is no excuse.

I am happy you got a ticket for having 5% tint on your front windows. I also have 5% but NOT in my front windows. I have that in my back. I hate it when people get 5% in their front windows. I am sorry but you do NOT have a show car.

When I am turning and so is another car, its soo hard to see whos going to go first when they have 5% and I cant see **** of what they are trying to tell me. I have 20% and its a big difference.. They can still see me and I still get the UV blocking that I want.

One less 5% tint guy on the road.

-Thank you cops.
