please refer to my previous post directly above yours. classier AMG and afflterbach emblems can be purchased, and the star in your logo has the wrong contour lines! the star is too fat in the middle. fix it, and then itll be worth buying

Excuse me, please. If you knew anything about Mercedes-Benz history, you would not make such ignorant remarks. The "fat" star, as you call it, has been a mainstay for the mark for decades, only recently replaced by the silver star. You can buy genuine MB accessories at the dealer today that have this star. In fact, this "fat" star is taken directly from a recently available key fob you could buy at the dealership. So... Please do a little research before embarrassing yourself with dumb comments.

As for being worth buying, there are more than 280 owners who do not agree with you. Your comments are noted, but the numbers are on my side.

As my mother used to teach me, "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all." This is my thread as a sponsor of the site. If you don't like my product, simply find another thread to read, please.

wow 280 huh? think about all the people who have seen your ad and opted against it. furthermore, think of the people who have purchased the AMG and affalterbach flat emblems... probably in the thousands each.

key fob or not this style doesnt belong on a contemporary classic like the w202 IMO.

Geez, you guys are being a little rough on DFW. The other forums are more welcoming.

I like my white star flat badge. Afterall, W202's are now two generations removed from the current C-Class. What better place to put a "Classic" broad star than on a "classic" 15 year-old design? Don't knock on me, I used to drive one...

Me personally I don't like it. It does depend on if you want the look or not.

These arguments are a bit childish, don't you think?
I'm perfectly happy with the badge it came with and others are not. Just preference.

It's like the 19"+ rims I see on W202 and other cars, which I dislike, but again it's preference.

Again, this also applies to front and rear lights (chromed/smoked). lowering, dying or re-painting the seats another color, etc... etc...

It's all about choice, taste (or lack of), and the freedom to do whatever you want to your car.

These senseless arguments on forums I read are just that, senseless. Can we all be grownups here?
