my C36 '94/95 lacks of power

Hello everybody, this is my first post. I own C36 1994/5 in Indonesia. it's been awhile I have this problem and all dealers and mercedes garages here don't have the right answers . my cars' problem is : when engine got to warm/normal hot temp. it become lack of power, but when it is cold/ first start the engine in the morning the power is awesome but about 30 minutes or so later power become less.
I would really appriciated if some one could answer my question. thanks in advance.

Rather obvious question, but how do your coolant temps look after you've been driving for a while? Loss of power can occur if there is a problem with flow in your cooling system.

Other idea's?

The C36 is supercharged right?? So is mine. I can tell you from experience and complaints of 1000's of S/C motor owners that heat slows you down quickly especially during hard driving. A stock car in its OEM configuration shouldn't be losing so much power after 30min that you can really complain about it. If your running 1/4 miles all day than yeah, but normal driving should still have some pull. I would make sure your cooling systems are working properly. A good flush and fill would be a start. Maybe a lower temp thermostat, electric fan controler, etc....

Is the car modified in any way?

The W202 C36 has a N/A 3.6 Litre V6, I believe you are thinking of the W203 C32, which is supercharged. I agree with with AWD_Dan, it sounds like a cooling issue. When was the last time your coolant was changed?

Don't clean it! Just purchase a new one. They're cheap. A new one will wake up the car and be more reliable than your cleaned up used original one. Do it right don't half step!
