I have debated where to get rotors now for the past year, I'm going with the cryo treatment - best price is through
www.rimier.com at $539 NOT
www.frozenrotors.com expect to pay about $40 for drop shipping. I'm expecting to get a couple cycles (couple sets of pads at least) with this cryo treatment. They're deep frozen to 300 below for a period of 60 hours, the claim is that they last 3X as long as 'regular' rotors - I'm going to give it a shot.
You guys know, those contemplating slotted, cross-drilled, etc...those cannot be turned if you ever get a warp. Proper bedding-in can also be a problem on your subsequent brake pad replacements.
My rotors have a slight warp now that can be felt through the steering wheel when braking hard. With 92K on the odometer, it's time to replace them anyways.
