thanks bro........i also talked to that seller to....forgot why i didn't want to go see it but i'm not in a rush so i'm gonna chill until i find something good thats close to me to check out......as much as its a rare car they'll still pop up......

Funny that you brought it up. I also like the C36's styling more than the C43 but I definitely love the C43's V8 more. It's just a bit more edgy/aggressive.
I see a mint C36 in silver (I think it's the best color for it) all the time... and I still love it. That car is a definite classic.

1991 300sl 5 speed manual
Maybe I will just rebuild the top end of the engine and do intake, exhaust headers and a small turbo to get a little more torque and power. If I start swapping engines and ecu computers Im going to be in deep. JJ

ok so here it goes.......96 c36 with 107k miles and i think it's the 3rd owner......might let it go at 11g's.........what ya'll think??? it's had all the things that are known to go wrong changed out., so he says.......
anything else i should know?? should i have the car inspected at a benz dealer?

95 Bronco w/351 V8 & 2003 Mustang MACH 1
Definitely have it checked out. Preferably by a independent mechanic, but if one is not available a dealesrship you trust is still good. I looked at a 97 one time and one of the major problems was the cruise control didn't work. The part to fix it was $1200 or $1600 depending which one was wrong. And that parts alone through a independent mechanic. Too bad you don't live closer to CO, there is a local 96 C36 w/45k miles for sale at a dealership. They are asking $15k but should really go for aound $13-$14k with the market here.

prob is i don't know any shops or dealerships around the sellers area...... wow, 45k on a 96.........i wouldn't mind paying 13-14 for that........
