Yet I am not sure besides the compression ratio and kompressor what is the actual difference between the 211 e55 m113 motor and the 210 e55 m113 motor. Would you guys be able to fit the vrus 80mm tb on your cars? How about the cf airbox? Or are there fitment issues with those? Moreover, is the engine in the 209 clk55 and 203 c55 the same engine as in the 210 e55/208 clk55? I assume that the heat spacers patrick makes for his clk are the same fit for the 210 e55 seeing as you bought a set, which would further lead me to believe there are no actual changes. And lastly what mods have you done projectc55? I know of kleeman heated coated headers, kleeman cams, pte heat spacers, and bms exhaust? Please correct me if I am wrong on any of this, I just think it would be interesting if mercedes did not change the engine at all between the 208/209 clk 55 which would mean the 210 e55 203 c55 and 208/209clk55 all have the same engine.
No offense but we are trying to stay on topic here(CAMS). If you do a search, all your questions about the M113 engine are answered in this entire MBworld forum.

Everythings been installed. I am going to get the timing chkd out today because the Dyno #'s(160rwhp,250 rwh ftlbs tq) on the dyno were extremely low contrary to what the car feels like. I'll keep you all posted. Don't know if this is SW related or if it was the dyno but the car feels very good to me.

They make sure your tires were not slipping on the rollers. And you had your car in 3rd gear right? 32 - 36 psi in the rear wheels. Normal engine temps. And was this the 1st ime you really ran the car with the headers. I know on my engine it took a while for the ECU to adapt.

Jeff I think you hit the nail on the head with the ECU adaptation. The car seems to be getting better as I drive it more and more.
Is this what happened with your car?

The car ran strong as hell tonite as I was test driving it against Mig-E55 Rocket's(Jody's) modded W211 E55. He was very impressed by the fact that my car stayed with him off the line up till second gear then after that he starts to pull away from me upstairs pretty hard from the beginning and middle of third gear up. He has the SLR cam mod with the Kleeman headers and ASP pulley. His ECU and throttle body upgrade are next.
I was really impressed by how she ran tonite.
The car was dynoed in third gear and in 4th gear a few times. The dyno baffled me as it once posted 310whp on this same dyno with no cams ,headers and just the cats back. Yes this was the first time the car was dynoed with the headers. The downpipes were being installed right then and there. Never chkd the tire pressure though.
We still want to put the cam plates back in just to double chk the cam timing. But to me the car feels stronger than b4 as well as smoother and is just getting itself acquainted to the mods I'll have to say. Stay tuned as I want to take the car to the track. This will really tell me what's going on. Next I wanna see how it may run against my cousins new AMG E63.

PS I got your pm. I'll paypal you asap during next week if that's ok.

05 ML-500 , 03 CLK5.5 AMG has left the Garage
Got to tell ya

I think Speedy benz is on the right track. Last fall my car found 14 hp between Atlanta and Hobe Sound. The ECU Learning & cooler weather , Gave me that ! , I did a dyno in Stuart ,FL.before I left & then Up at Atl ,As part of the weekend Fun & they both were Dyno Jet Chassis Dynos. The 165 hp you are Missing? You know it if you were down that MUCH. You car would feel like it had a Collapsed Exhaust , Or a Rats nest in the MUFFLER

Well Patrick I'll tell ya! She feels like a monster today. It's 61 degrees in NYC as I'm typing and I think the car is adjusting the mixture and timing nicely. I have to agree with Jeff 100%. Last night I had no complaints after heading to Brooklyn from L.I. accompanied by Jody's modded W211 modded E55. He'll tell the car runs now like a monster ALLL AROUND! Thanks to you again Patrick ,Stay tuned.
