1999 C43 AMG for sale...62k blk/blk
Hey guys, I'm kinda new to the boards, but most know me on AMGpower and from Long Island meets. I'm putting up for sale my 1999 Mercedes C43 AMG. I'm selling due to me being a full time student in school, and cannot keep up with the insurance payments and the expense of owning this car.
About the car : I bought the car in September with 56,xxx miles. I've only put in Shell V power gas and have taken excellent care of the car since I bought it. The car is stock for the most part besides having green air filters. I also have done some cosmetic upgrades, with AMG license plate frames, AMG Valve stem caps, and AMG pedals. I have put Silverstar fog lights in as well. Also I put on 18" AMG monoblock II rims from a W210 E55 AMG with brand new Pirelli P-Zero Nero All season tires just recently. Tires sizes being 225/40-18 in the front and 255/35-18 in the rear. Also I recently spend $2,000 on more cosmetic fixes, by getting two new side mirrors, a new right headlight, and a new cupholder. The car has every option that was available, being the Xenon headlights, Rain sensing windshield wipers, headlamp wiper/washers and the k2 package being integrated CD changer and the portable mobile phone connection. These pictures were taken a few days ago after washing the car, and the night pictures I just took 5 minutes ago including the one of the dash. The car is at 61,233 miles at the moment, from what I know its hard to find a C43 with this mileage. See the pictures, if you have any questions or serious inquiries send me a PM. Asking $22,750.

Damn , sorry to here you have to get rid of her.BenZtek is right,you might have a hard sell at that price.That kind of number is usually reserved for the 2000 model.Good luck with the sale and I hope you continue to hang around here.

No one is really trying to razz (sp?) you with regards to your price, it's just that there's a big difference between a reasonable price and your asking price - it's gonna put a chilling effect on people even calling you. Check the traderonline and check out asking prices on comparable models, it should be step one BTW. I have sold quite a bit of cars.

Yeah, my brother just bought an excellent condition 1999 C43 (silver with black/silver) with 34,000 miles for $23k. That's half the mileage for the price you're asking. Looks like a nice, clean car, though. The problen with upgrades is that no one really wants to pay higher than the car is worth.

A limited production vehicle is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Keep your price for a while as it does give you room for negotiation.
I bought a Brilliant Silver Metallic / Black leather, fully optioned 1999 C43 Starmarked with 26K miles two years ago. The dealer was MB of South Atlanta who was asking $31K....bought it on EBAY on it's second time around for $25K.
If someone wants a C43 in black and appreciates a pristine well maintained vehicle you may see close to $20K

Jared, good move. I hope you decieded to keep the car.

Yeah I'm keeping it. Too hard to give it up...probably why I made my price so high...my original asking price was $50,000

Ok guys...unfortunately its not going to work for me keeping the car. I can't afford it with school / insurance etc. therefore the car is up for sale again. Very hard decision for me...asking $19,500. Please PM me with serious inquiries...before I change my mind once again.

Not all my cars. I'm 20. That's all the cars in my household. Evo being my brothers, Is300 being my moms, and the mazda3, dart swinger (which is for sale as well), and chrysler royal being my fathers.

Anyone? Seems everyone is PMing me about the wheels but not the car. So what I'll do for you guys is anyone who wants the rims I'll sell them for $19,500 and throw in a free car.
