lower grill piece
i need the lower grill piece for a '98 c43. this is a snap in plastic piece which runs horizontally between the fog lites. please let me know if anyone has one for sale or knows where i can obtain one. thanks.

mike, i'm sure you've already surfed ebay, but i used an ebay seller ("potomac_german_auto") a few months ago for a door wood trim piece for my C43. he was very helpful, quick, and the price was right. he didnt have the piece actually listed on ebay, but i contacted him and inquired, and it turned out that he did have the part at his store, just not on ebay. you may want to check him out. sounded like he was selling a bunch of parts off of a dismantled C43. his ebay handle is stated above, and here's his alternate contact info:

thanks for the info. i have seen this guy on ebay and did in fact contact him through the"ask question" link. so far no answer.
i'll try the contact info you provided and see if i fare better. will keep you posted about any progress.
at some point i'll probably go to the dealer and get the piece.
have not reached my full frustration level yet so hopefully that's several weeks off.
