C43 + sprintbooser = shame.......

C43 + sprintbooser = shame.......
Well, I guess I could say the sprintbooster let me down when I think of it. I was at a light the other day going back to work with a buddy of mine. We leave on a green only to hear the car next to us get on it. So I drop the hammer thinking it would be funny to work on a 1990's Monte Carlo......well I just ended up at his door the whole time and finally gave up. He smilled at me and I wanted to kill myself. I gave him the thumbs up as it was his lucky day.
So I then look down to see a check engine light which makes perfect sense the way my car was running. I just cleaned my MAS and K&N filter the other day so I got the typical P0173ish fuel trim code for the MAS. Cleared that and all is well. What came along with this code was a strange P1542(I think) code that discribed as input sensor malfunction as well as a few other similar fault defenitions. I assume this must have been the sprintbooster causing this. It is the 2nd time it's gone haywire and the first time it threw a code. Both times the pedal becomes dead where I have to floor it for 30seconds to get the car going.
I've got the SB out of the car now with the codes cleared and so far all is well. I had a couple runs up at the beach this weekend and CEL's are still at bay. I am going to install the SB again this week and see if this happens 1 more time in which I will leave it off.
....and my SB relationship started off so well. Guys, I got spanked by a chevrolet V6 monte carlo. My friend is still laughing.
