C43 gas tank size question.
I just filled up the tank, and I saw that i got 16.30 gallons. I thought these tanks are 16 gallon tanks. Am I wrong?
Last time I got 350 miles per tank.
Thanks in advance for your input.

1) If you have stations with "vapor recovery" systems, it could mean that some of that gas is being given back to the station, since overfills will go back through the recovery system into the pump.
2) The fuel you're dispensing is relatively cool. If you're driving around in warm weather . . . the liquid fuel will expand and pressurize the fuel tank. If there is a relief valve . . . gas ends up on the ground.
3) Ever notice that sometimes it's hard to get the gas pump to engage smoothly so that you can pump your gas without having to release the handle and reapply pressure. If you run into that, it may well be that the person that used the pump before you was a "topper." The on/off pumping of the gas can cause the gas pump to take in air and cause the next customer to experience the auto shut off mechanism.
