If you find a quaife that fits the C43 I'm going to take my head and do this![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)
I've spoke with many people about this including cory from kleemann and there just isn't an LSD for the C43 other than the kleemann. It has been confirmed by many both experts and dealers that the quaife will not fit the C43.
I also thought about the idea of switching rear ends like you can do with any domestic and was quickly turned away seeing all the parts you need to change upstream of the rear end in order for it to work.
...believe me, I need one bad. I hope you find something, and let us know.

I would suggest calling peliquion. he custom made a rear diff for my friends
4wd corrado vw. Its worth a shot. I am suprised that quaife doesnt make one. I know with VW's that you can weld the diff to make it stronger but your steering and turning become a *****. But since benz's are rwd wonder if the diff can be welded or reinforced?

You can weld the diff, but you force both wheels to spin at the same speed, all of the time. I would not recommend it on any car unless the only pavement it ever saw was a drag strip. You can imagine the other stresses when you are turning and the inside wheel wants to spin less than the outside wheel but you are forcing them to have the same speed.
