Front lower ball joints...
) but I do have some play with the steering, especially when the car is stationary. 1. What experienced you guys have with replacing them? # hours for labor?
2. Reputation for these brands; Meyle/Karlyn (priced similar to eBay guys), Lemfoerder (double the price of Meyle/Karlyn), or eBay vendors, etc.....thanks!

read a post from one of your members on their r/r but can't find it in search, maybe they will chime in.
as an aside, met a guy with c36 wheels on his w210.He got them for free when the c36 trans went bad and the guy that owned it pulled the wheels and sent the rest to the junk yard

it was in nice shape from what he said!
breaks my heart

does sound like about 3-4 hours job. especially for us that like 'older' cars...seeing one in good shape go to waste is very sad...

and the ball joint is the complete assembly so that will help labor wise.Might want to check all the other wear parts while into it,bushings, shocks, bearings.
have fun
