235/55/17 winter snows?

Any idea if these would fit on the stock C43 rims without rubbing issues? Have a set locally 235/55/17's...

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
1/2 inch

narrower, but they are about 2.5 inches taller,so your speedo would be way off.just rough estimate maybe 80 tire revs less per mile and D*3.14 that would be a bunch of feet. Most mb manuals list winter tire suggestions.

from memory stock was like 245/40/17 on the rear
winter tire narrow is better but your stock rims will be to wide.

you going to keep her?shame to let it go for below market.

it'll probably work, but the fronts may be a bit too large. the manual does suggest 215-45-17 iirc... but i doubt it'll fit the rear 8.5" rims properly.
