I went to the drags yesterday for the time time in over 20 years and had a great time. My high neg. camber set-up for high corner speed does not work too well on the dragstrip. But even without the grip it was fun. My best time and mph: 13.2 sec at 109.5mph with a 60ft time of 2.4 sec.
Lots of room for improvement. Pretty happy with the mph speed.

I am trying to duplicate your ram air setup but with using the CLK320/ML55 airbox. I figure cooler intake + ram air(two 3" hoses, one from foglight and one from the original spot by the radiator support) should help me and looking at your 1/4 mile run and trap I'm encouraged.
Your car is running strong. Post it on the CLK55 board so Chappy and the guys could see your times.

I was pretty discouraged but after putting back in the stck cams I can tell that with the Kleeman cams I needed fuel. car ran too lean. But it was also more aggressive with the cams. I do notice.
Jeff your results are encouraging. I am hoping you hit 12's with tires and proper alignment! We virtually have the same car other than the mods you did with the intake mani!
I am also hoping that my Positive Pressure air intake mods will help as well.
Keep us posted on further runs Jeff. By the way those are great times in that altitude. You would have been running possibly mid 12's at over 111 mph with a good 60 or bad 60 would be my prediction if you were over here on the East Coast.

Yes, It's true I went drag racing and not roadracing. But you know it was pretty fun. Not roadracing fun, but still real fun. I was curious about what kind of trap speed I would see as a measure of my Hp. But with almost -2.0 degrees camber in the rear I just could not get any grip from the tires and so it really shows in the 60 ft times of 2.4 and 2.5 seconds.
I wonder if I had -1.0 neg camber and my Kumho Victoracers on if my 60 ft times would come down a bunch and result in a higher trap speed and faster ET's.
I might go back again when I get my LSD in and try one more time with my better tires which are 275/40/17 Kumho R-compounds.
The only way I could launch was to load the convertor to about 1500 rpm's and then ease out on the gas until I got past 20mph and knew the car would not down shift, but still stay in 1st gear and run out to shift into 2nd gear.
If I tried anymore throttle the tires would just spin and spin. I had two runs like that with 3.0 sec 60 ft times and 14.0 sec ET's
I pretty sure my times and speed would be very similar to PTE's time and speed if I did the above.
And Carl the Ram Air does come in nice on the last half of the run. The engine is still pulling real hard. I could actually pull on a C6 Corvette and against the stock E55 Kompressors I was only getting pulled by just a few mph, about 3 mph on the one guy I lined up with.
