Anyone know how to do a brake job on a C43?

Anyone know how to do a brake job on a C43?
Just wondering how hard it is. Dealer wants from $580-$1400 to do the rear rotors and brake pads. I basically called every dealer in southern cali. Im thinking about doing it myself to save some money. Parts only costed me $184 since I got it wholesale.

yeah...mb dealers r so expensive on labor. can't be that hard...i change my brakes on my wagon...but i haven't changed the c36...just wear some latex (or nitrile) gloves when u change em...saves a lot of grief washing ur hands...

I've never done one on a C43 or any MB but all brakes are similar in concept. You move the wheel, then the caliper then the pads and reverse.
If you need to replace the rotor, then generally you will also need to remove the carrier, then usually a single screw which keep the rotor on while you put the rim back on.
I would say do it yourself and save a few $100 to $1000.
Just make sure you have all the right tools before you start! Specially if you don't have a spare car.
At min, you should have floor jack, two jack stands, blocks to stop the tire, screw driver set, hex key set, C-clamp (to push the pistons back in), torque wrench and metric and standard socket sets.
If you had to buy all the tools, it would cost a few hundred but hey have other uses too so it's more of an investment.

they have a crappy website and their store front is a converted garage but they have really good prices.
call the number and ask for patrick, the girl there sold me wrong rotors last time
i believe they also beat or match competitors prices.
