C36 Fan Clutch, Serpentine Belt

Hello,

I am trying to replace the viscous fan clutch on 1996 C36.
Have seen some posts on this but no details for removal/replacement.
Looks like a 8mm center bolt (use an allen wrench?) and supposedly a tool is available to hold the pulley from spinning?
Has anyone done this? Have details/tips/advice?

Also, want to change the serpentine belt while I have the fan out.
I have a tool from the tool kit, looks like a tension release lever, but where does it go? Or, how is best way to release then re-apply tension to belt?

Found the attached belt pattern drawing at Gates:

regular allen won't work, i have a tool that i got from the dealer it was about 70 bux.... has two ends that spin... almost inpossible to do it w/o the tool since your radiator is so close.
