Maintenance Items
In preparation for my upcoming 3000 mile road-trip, I'm sending the C43 into the stealer for service. The items I have asked to have checked are:
1) A/C system
2) Touch up rock chips on hood and one on fender
3) Do B service
That said, is there anything else you all would recommend that I have done? The car is right at 92k miles, and it has had all scheduled maintenance items performed up until this point. Thanks guys!

Another suggestion might be hold off on the touch-up rock chips because you are bound to get some more during your road trip...just my opinion. Have a great trip. Where you headed by the way?

+1, have it done when you get back. btw, isn't there a 90k service? i think this is a different kind of service. speaking of "b" service, how do you know if its a or b that you need to do? i'm less than 1k due for service that's why i'm asking. thanx and have a safe trip bro!

I'll look into the 90k service, though I'm guessing that will probably pop up anyways on their end
Trip is one way, so I won't be coming back, but I guess holding off on the touch up is a reasonable idea. I'm just a little worried about one particular chip on my fender that is already showing a trace amount of oxidation....I'm worried the more humid environment where I'm going will quickly worsen the problem. But yes, this would probably be the best course of action.

Are you coming east??
Some Mercs from our generation like to kill water pumps. I know my uncle's ML320 ate a water pump around 100k. I would make sure you have a good road side assistance plan.
