Is there anyone here w/ a chipped c36 ?

I can't seem to find any owner that has installed one, and the club202 forum is pretty much all nonpower mods as far as the 36 in concerned.

I called Upsolute as they list the euro-c36 as a car they chip/re-flash, but they never returned my calls ....FTL !

Thanks !

PS- My google searched listed a few companies, but after browsing their site, once again no 36 application.

It would be great to get at least another 15hp via timing, then another few w/ the exhaust/CAI.

I know for a fact upsolute still chips 'em. I had an upsolute rep chip my c280's (the i6 motors) two years ago, and they still had the i6 motor from the 280's and the c36's on their site listed. i think they removed the i6 280's recently because theyre old, it doesnt mean they dont have the codes for them anymore. they still have the c36 listed

he helped me out with my chips, i know the number listed there still works for him because i called him a couple months ago to have him send me a receipt for my chip so i could turn it into the insurance company to get more money for my totalled c280

Dont bother, nothing really noticable from personal experience.

Bother, it made a big diff in my c280. went from 194 hp to 217hp and 199 tq to 219! the gains for N/A motors is typically 20 hp give or take 5 hp. so 20 hp in a 200hp car is a noticeable diff whereas itll be more difficult to feel a diff in a near 300hp car if you add 20 hp, its proportionally a smaller gain.

My c280 had some other stuff done to it and it was totally faster than a stck one. i kept up with all kinds of cars a stck c280 shouldnt have kept up with.

one of the noticable perks was better gas mileage! i got 31.06 mpg on a 290 mile trip from atlanta to savannah, ga. I was really happy with those numbers. you can typically expect a +2 mpg increase in any N/A car you chip. turboed and s/c cars get more gains (hp AND gas mileage)
