how's it goin jared? have you seen the exhaust vid i made?
however, chipping a turbo car gets you in the ranks of 40hp sometimes. i know large gains like 50 are bestowed to big turbo motors, like the 65 amg line.
i digress, were talking stock. i know c43's can be tuned pretty well, not cheaply but well none the less...

C43 = 300 hp at the crank.
S4 = 250 hp at the crank.
C43 puts down 240rwhp.
S4 puts down 190awhp
So with 50 less wheel hp the audi is still quicker.
Tuning on the S4 is insane.
Giac Chip yields 60-70 Hp
Down pipes are 40hp
People have dyno'd in as much as 350 AWHP with just a chip, intake, and exhaust.
Now to get 150~160 wheel hp on a C43 you would need a blower.
Also the C43 is LIGHTER then the S4.
I believe the C43 weights in at 3300~3400
S4 weighs 3600~3700
i test drove a s4 once (6spd) i really liked it. the dealer kept insisting that i attempt full acceleration with any two tires on grass. so i pulled over and put the passenger side tires on the grassy shoulder with the other two on pavement. i performed a drop at a minor 2k rpm (as to not offend the dealer) and the car took off without complaint. i was really impressed with the meticulous management of all that hp through the quattro drive system. if i had one of those i wouldnt have to borrow my gf's xterra every time i drove up to the mtns to go skiing.
good to hear everythings fine with you..i just started to look for work coz my papers just came in. you done at school?
Being an S4 owner too....its that the Quattro system just puts down the power more efficiently...IOW, no traction loss.
There aren't too many C4,B5 S4's out there that aren't even lightly modded.
I take my S4 when I'm looking for trouble.
FWIW, my S4 put down 298 whp/335 wtq on a Mustang dyno before my FMIC was installed.
So lets go over the list.
Intake maaaaaaybe 10hp
Exhaust ::headers, deleted res, xpipe, race cats:: AT BEST 20-25hp
Chip gives you 5hp but advances timing
pulleys give you no hp but they allow the motor to rev more freely.
Trust me I'm a Mercedes guy at heart, I did all those mods to my M104 Eclass to only gain 40 rwhp.
I did a
GruppeM C/F ram air intake
Fully custom exhaust.
Anti RASP resonator
Magnaflow Muffler
Custom hand written Stage2 ecu. ::7,000RPM redline, and a RACE file::
NGK plugs
Along with AMG high flow CATS.

My best Dyno was 220 RWHP and my other Dyno was 206 with a guy who didnt know about kickdown letting off at 6200RPMS.
Stock was around 180rwhp

stock vs stock - it would probably be the S4 up to 60 and C43 would take over
