I took the car in to the mbz dealer for an alignment and they tell me because the car is lowered all they can do is set the toe???? has anyone ever had bad lower ball joints? Kevin
Sounds like the car is lowered beyond the point where factory camber bolts can bring it back into spec. This is a 208 drawing, but a 202 looks the same.

K-Mac makes both front and rear camber kits. About $400 plus installation for the front. I'm sure there are other options as well.

reason they tell you this is because your arms need to be replaced, i had to get mine replaced as well, if you keep the ball joints and control arms they will crack as mine did as well

i heard the labor is a*itch for this that's why they charge soo much the part is like 20 bucks
they told me only thing they could set is toe, i am not understanding why the control arms will go bad, i can do all the labor myself, but bring me up to speed on the control arms, Kevin

WELL FROM WAT I UNDERSTAND AND THEY TOLD ME my arms went bad as well, these arms cannot handle the extra pressure they get when you lower the car, it pressures them more man, so they crack. i had both of mine replaced, but with different ones, that was ok with the height of the car. i kno it's weird.
